Chennai:
On the occasion of the International Day of Peace on September 21,
Tibetan students and the supporters of the cause in Chennai city
organised a program – 'Living in Peace',
for everlasting peace and harmony in the Chinese-occupied Tibet.
Buddhist monk Rev. Watahawa led the prayers and people from
different faiths spoke on the importance of understanding and
respecting various faiths and to care and concern for others.
A discussion on 'practical approaches to network with new friends
and supporters for the cause of Tibet' was initiated by
Smt. Asha Reddy, Shri. MR Hubert, Coordinator, Friends of Tibet
and Shri. K Chandrasekaran, a member of Friends of Tibet.
