Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: As many as 150 members of the Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan Women's Association and Friends of Tibet (INDIA) today organised a peaceful candlelight procession from Shere-e-punjab to DC office for the release of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpopche, whose execution by the Chinese Government falls tomorrow.

Tibetan Youth Congress(TYC) Vice-President Tashi Topgyal said the Tibetan community urges the international community to intervene in saving the life of Tulku Tenzin, who had been arrested on April 7 2002 and was sentenced to die on december 2004. TYC General Secretary Palden said, "We appeal to the Indian Government to support the Tibetan community." Prayer services and chants are being held at Sanjauli Monastery for the safe release of Rinpoche, he added.
