‘Dharam looking into COD report on security lapse’

Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh today said he was looking
into the report of the state Corps of Detectives (COD) on the
security lapse during Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit here on
Sunday last.
"The report has come. I am looking into it," Singh said on the probe
by COD which was ordered by the government after a Tibetan staged
a protest from atop the main building at the Indian Institute of
Science during Wen's visit there on Sunday.
Tenzin Tsundue, General Secretary of "Friends of India; India"
organisation had shouted slogans in support of Tibet and unfurled
"Tibetan flag" even as Wen spoke to scientists on the ground floor.
Singh said a police inspector had already been suspended in
connection with the incident.
